About Us

The Mission of Pan African School

pan-Af·ri·can (panˈafrəkən) adjective :
of or relating to all people of African birth or descent.
There has been a break in the education of African-American children.  Our children don't seem to be being taught to be leaders, but mere workers in a system not designed for their success.

Pan African School seeks to fill the gap in knowledge and confidence so that all African-American Children can excel inside and outside of the school system with Africa-centered lessons designed to foster a true understanding of African history and how if affects us today.

If our children learn to embrace the great minds in leadership, business, technology, science, art, and culture that they descend from, it will propel our children into successful roles on the economic world stage, and uplift the entire culture positively.
Pan African School is a Saturday school children attend once per week. Classes coincide with local public school semester calendars. All local and national holidays and vacations are observed.

The general cost of the program per child is $120 per semester for the core program, plus $30 per elective.  Tuition fees cover the cost of books, materials and snacks per semester.

Agriculture as a foundation

Agriculture is integral to health.  As diseases such as diabetes rise from high sugar/high fat diets, our children are suffering the effects with poor concentration and weak constitutions.

A central focus of Pan African School is to make all children well versed in the cultivation of organic plants, and livestock for food and products.  A special focus will be placed on foods indigenous to the African continent as our systems respond best to the diet native to our DNA.

Financial literacy, Trades, and Entrepreneurship

Many American students are on a road to college they may not be suited for and a weight of debt from earning degrees that may not lead them to a career that allows them to earn a decent living.  With a focus on each student's strengths and weaknesses, each child will be guided along the best career path for their talents.

Every student will be taught to stay away from the burden of debt, to build wealth through savings and investments, and to create and prosper their own business ideas.  Supported by a network of experts in each related field, each child will be mentored to reach their goals.
